Coral Springs Community Information

Coral Springs is about 10 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale, 30 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and midway between Miami and West Palm Beach, making it an excellent locale for businesses. Broward County offers quick, easy north to south mobility via I-95, I-75, the Florida Turnpike or Sawgrass Expressway. East to west mobility is provided via I-595 and a network of main thoroughfares to meet the needs of the county. Coral Springs is a short drive from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades.

At the center of Florida's Gold Coast, Coral Springs works hard to maintain its image as the place with the "best of everything." It has long been run with corporate ideals in mind: residents are treated as "customers." The city's devotion to Total Quality Management earned it the governor's Sterling Award in 1997.
